Tow limits, waiting periods and "not covered" locations
Home › Complaints › Roadside Assistance
Members find out about mileage caps, a waiting period on new plans, and destination rules the day they need a tow, not the day they buy.
What's going on
One member hit a 48-hour waiting period on a brand-new plan. Others were told the tow was to the wrong kind of place, or found that a shop-to-shop move wasn't covered.
Those limits may well be in the benefit guide. That's the problem: most people read it after the breakdown. If you were sold a plan as "unlimited," keep whatever the salesperson or ad said.
