Before it happens to you

• Save the roadside number in your phone and write down the reference number on every call.
• Ask for the name of the tow company and call them yourself. You'll know if your job is really in their queue.
• If you end up paying a tow yourself, keep the receipt and the call log. Members say reimbursement gets denied when there's no proof of a dispatch call.
