6 Camping World locations in Arizona. Every one is part of Camping World Holdings, the same company that owns Good Sam.

Ask these before you sign anything in the finance office

  1. "Is this a Good Sam product?" Good Sam is owned by Camping World Holdings, so the plan, roadside or insurance on your paperwork is usually the store's own family brand.
  2. "Who pays claims?" Ask for the name of the company that pays claims (the obligor or insurer). Our Scorecard shows who stands behind what.
  3. "Is it optional?" Service plans and add-ons are optional. You can buy the RV without them.
  4. "Can I take the full contract home first?" Read the exclusions, the pre-authorization rule and the labor rate before you pay.
  5. "Can I get an outside quote?" RV insurance and service plans are sold by many companies. Compare at least one.
  6. "What's the cancellation refund?" For the ESP, Good Sam's site says you can cancel within 30 days, minus any claims paid. After that the refund is prorated, minus a fee.

If a store didn't tell you it was selling its own family brand, or pushed an add-on as required, put it on the Wall with the store's city.
